Clinical Labortory Technology, an emerging field of innovate clinical diagnostic, research, that unifies the diverse areas of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Immunologist Chemistry and Blood banking.

Clinical laboratory technologists perform a complex chemical, biochemical hematological, immunological, microscopic and bacteriological tests and evaluate test results, develop and modify procedures and monitor program to ensure the accuracy of tests.

Clinical labotratory technologists use automated equipments and computerised instruments capable of performing a number of tests simultaneously. Rapid job growth and excellent job opportunities can be expected. Most jobs will continue to be in hospitals and self employment will grow faster in other settings.
