B.Sc. (H) Electronics

A degree in B.Sc. (Hons.) Electronics covers all the key knowledge areas required to become a successful Electronics professional. It equips students with broad foundation of the fundamentals of Electronics and associated subjects and provides students with skills which are required to design electrical, electronic, computer,automation and communication systems. It includes courses on Digital Electronics,Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Instrumentation Electronics, Communication and Microprocessor and associated subjects like Physics, Engineering Mathematics and Human Behaviour at Work.The Electronics Laboratory has analog Cathode Ray Oscilloscope in the100MHz range, digital storage oscilloscope (100 MHz), CRO demonstration kits, pulsegenerators, function generators, power supply, power meter, analog and digital I.C.tester, LCR Q-tester, 8085 and 8086 microprocessor kits with assembler and dissembler, microcontroller trainer, interfacing modules and cards, Universal Programmer, various communication modules and experimental kits like LASER kits, Antenna Trainer kits, PCB design kit and PID controller. The Department also has a well equipped computer laboratory to facilitate the students for computer practical and simulation software for various experiments.

ELECTRO SOCIETY

Department of Electronics has its society named Electro-society which organizes various activities like Seminars, Industrial visits, Electronic Fest etc. throughout the year. Eminent personalities from the industries are invited to guide the students with their valuable knowledge about advancement in Electronic Technology Students get an opportunity to acquire organization skills and get exposed to speakers from Electronics and allied industries. Various events like just a minute, group discussion, quiz, poster competition, technoscrap, caption contest, sudoku and project exhibition are also organized

Opportunities are available in research and development, aerospace and defense Electronics, design, testing, production, inspection, quality control, project management and technical sales.
