Keeping pace with the tremendous progress made by Plant Sciences in recent years, the Honours course provides a comprehensive training in plant forms, geographical distribution and taxonomy of flora, cytogenesis, molecular genetics, biotechnology and cell/seed biology, with special reference to Indian ecology, environment, commodities and forestry. Course work comprises class room lectures, practicals, field studies and instructional excursions.
