Initiation of ‘Women Physicists Association’- This year 2005, being the International year of Physics, The Department of Physics of Mother Teresa Women’s University has come forward to initiate an active and coordinated interaction among women physicists.

The members of this association will include women physics teachers at University, college and school levels, Researches and Scientists will also be the members of this association. The objective of this programme is to facilitate the women physicists at various levels to interact and discuss various issues and challenges. We intend to motivate and encourage women physicists and also kindle a passion among the youth especially young girls to take up Physics as a serious career option
