Department of Civil Engineering has been one of the oldest and finest departments of the college. Established in 1964, it has been involved in making professional Civil engineers. The department of Civil Engineering offers a program in Civil Engineering at B.Tech level.
The highly experienced faculty of the Department contribute a vital role in Academic research. Many research papers have been presented in reputed international journals and conferences by the faculty.

The first year of the B.Tech academic program has common classes for all the departments. The students from all departments are conglomerated together in various sections. Students from all the departments offering B.Tech course are present in any given section.

The academic year is divided into two semesters. Both the semesters have two cycle tests followed by the semester examination.
