B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

Computer Science engineering department has emerged as one of the major engineering department of the college. It is one of the oldest departments in the college & offer four year course at undergraduate level leading to Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering. Recently in the year 2009 the department has increased its seats from 60 to 120.


The Department has well qualified faculty & state of the art infrastructure facilities. The all round development & competence of students is ensured by the balance exposure to modern class room Teaching, advanced Software & Hardware Technology in the Labs of the Department. The emphasis of the entire programme is to enable the students to take up more challenging assignments in their organizations on completion of these courses.

Since, its inception, the Department has been actively involved in various programme and with its dynamic organization and structure, will continue to do so in future.

RIET for Computer Science

The RIET for Computer Science is devoted to cutting-edge research in informatics with a focus on algorithms and their applications in a broad sense. Our research ranges from foundations (algorithms and complexity, programming logics) to a variety of application domains (computer graphics, geometric computation, constraint solving, program verification, databases and information systems, and computational).

Our Mission:

The foremost objective of the Computer Science and Engineering programme is to hone technical skills demanded by today's engineering professionals by providing a sound technical platform and the required knowledge base. It prepares them to meet the challenges faced by today's IT professional by exposing them to a wide array of cutting-edge technologies.
