Nagarjuna Institute of Technology & Sciences was established in the year 1998 at Miryalguda, Nalgonda district. It was established by highly qualified, ambitious group of people with the motto of academic excellence and service to mankind.

Nalgonda district is predominantly a developing district with major crops being paddy, sugarcane, cotton, and sunflower and with good irrigation systems by canal, filters, bore wells etc., Taking the above factors in to consideration the management of Susrutha Educational Academy founded the engineering college to develop the student community on sound technical aspects and develop them as potential industrial entrepreneurs in their lines.

With these objectives, Nagarjuna Institute of Technology & Sciences was established, which is a private, charitable, non-profit educational organisation.
Geographically the college is located centrally between important districts of Khammam, Krishna, Guntur and Ranga Reddy districts. Miryalguda is situated on Hyderabad - Guntur railway line at a distance of 140 km from Hyderabad. Miryalguda town is a genial spot for establishing engineering and other professional colleges. Miryalguda is an excellent center with a moderate cost of living where lot of private accommodation and boarding facilities are available. Excellent bus & train facilities are available from Hyderabad, Guntur and other towns of the state.
Sri.Dr.V.Saidi Reddy, M.S., a renowned person in the field of Medicine in India and abroad, is honourable president of the society and in his dynamic and able leadership the society is progressing by leaps and bounds.

The college, established in the year 1998 is functioning in its campus of 25 acres of land with a built up area 8500 sq.m.

The institution is having adequate infrastructural facilities viz., Laboratories, Workshops, class rooms, drawing halls, English language Laboratory, Library and training and placements cell amenities like canteen and vehicles stand.
Highly qualified and experienced faculty members are working in all the branches of Engineering, Humanities and Basic Sciences. Dr.PSN MURTHY, who is having rich experience over 35 years, is the Principal of our college, and under his dynamic and able leadership and guidance the institution is functioning with right phase progress.
