B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2001 to cater to the growing demand for qualified technical personnel in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering with an intake of 40 students. In 2002, the intake was increased to 60 students. The Department has been accredited by NBA in the year 2007.

Since inception, the Department was developed with the combination of Industry, Academic and Research personnel to remove gap between academics and Industry. The teaching faculty is chosen from different specializations such as Power Electronics, Power Systems, Energy Systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems so as to impart excellent knowledge to the students in the core subjects.

Three faculty members of the department are pursuing Ph.D. in the emerging fields of Power Electronics and Power Systems. Distinguished and highly motivated faculty members are guiding the student projects in the cutting edge technologies.
