B.TECH IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

A mechanical engineer deals primarily with mechanics of movement, production processes of utilization of thermal energy. The field of activity includes designs of machines and machine tools, manufacturing processes, designs of heat transfer refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, combustion engineer and gas turbines and turbo-machinery.
Avenues of Employment: - All industry needs mechanical engineers as industrial engineers, production engineers, designers and maintenance engineers. The services of mechanical engineers are also needed in thermal and nuclear power plant in the process, automotive industries and marketing sales and services industries.
AICTE Research Project: AICTE has granted Rs.5 lacs towards Research Project Titles " Sterling Cycle Refrigeration using Non-CFC Fluid".
