BA in Media Studies(Partnership Programme)

BA in Media Studies is offered under Partnership Programme in which student have to study 2 years in Christ University and 2 years in Swansea University. Swansea University was founded in 1920 and is a full constituent member of the University of Wales. All its degrees are conferred by the University of Wales, which exercises quality control over all university education of its members in Wales and is second in size within the United Kingdom only to the University of London. The University offers over 500 undergraduate degree schemes, and there are more than 100 postgraduate programmes running, with opportunities to study for an MBA, MSc, MA and M.Res, as well as MPhil and PhD. There are currently more than 10,000 students at the University, 20 per cent of whom (approximately 2,000) come from 111 countries outside the UK. Swansea University was the winner of the Times Higher Education Supplement -Best Student Experience Award 2005

An excellent Careers Centre helps students to find work after graduating and whilst studying. Swansea boasts a student employment rate of 95% within six months of graduation and is one of only a small number of UK universities to have a Specialist International Student Careers Adviser.

Computer Science at Swansea is one of only 10 departments in the UK with a national Teaching Quality Assessment rating of ‘Excellent’ and national Research Assessment Exercise rating of 5 or more.
