Bachelor Degree in Physics

The department of Physics was started in 1946 at the inception of the college. The department teaches Engineering Physics curriculum which is common to the first year students. The department has two well equipped laboratories. The department has taken up the Study of Particle Transport Close to Surfaces under TEQIP. The department has a Career guidance programme in Physics for high school students under TEQIP. A laser lab is also proposed under TEQIP.
