Job opportunities in editing and reporting for print, radio and television, and for TV and radio anchoring and production have grown many fold. The appeal of national and international journalism awards has created a celebrity status for star writers, editors, presenters and anchors and journalists have become icons and role models.

Career Scope
With the management of the corporate world going completely digital, media relations, writing and advertising are becoming attractive careers. The motivated student will now have a greater choice in filling critical roles in the management of computing resources in the corporate context. Journalism allows the student to cross the threshold over to higher achievements in specialized subjects and subsequently open up highly rewarding career prospects.
