Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication

Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication is a three-year-full time programme of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.It prepares d student for Print Journalism, Radio and TV Journalism, TV and Video Production, Digital Media and Web Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Corporate Communication and, last but not the least, Communication Management. It is an upcoming course and the college is proud to offer it. On completion of this course, a student can join the media industry or can opt for higher education, viz, PG Diploma and Master's course in Journalism and Mass Media.
The main objective of this course is to produce journalists and media professionals who have nose for news and can serve society at the same time . We make them technology savvy so that they respond effectively to emerging circumstances,
Classroom Teaching
The teaching here at KRCHE is highly interactive and motivating. The main focus is on the overall personality development of students and to enhance their knowledge. The teaching methodology includes lectures from rare, visiting and guest faculties, case studies and discussions, and fieldwork.
Media Lab

The Mass Communication Lab at Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education is an ultra modern Lab divided into Audio Lab, Voice-over-booth, Video Lab and Video Editing Suite. Fully air-conditioned and acoustically treated labs adre equipped with latest electronic equipment. The Audio Lab of KRCHE is backed by latest computers with special configuration and editing software, Digital Mixer, Sound Card, Speakers, Microphones [Directional, Lapel, Cordless and Gun mike), Headphones dnd Amplifiers etc,, and is comparable to any professional audio studio in Delhi. The spacious state-of-art Video Lab of KRCHE has latest and modern equipment conforming to the needs of the BJ(MC) course and for quality video production. In addition a Photography Lab has been set up with Digital and Manual SLRs of Nikon, Olumpus & Pentax Make.

Summer Training

After every two semesters students are required to go for summer training in various media organizations to get the hands on training and practical exposure.

Industry Interface
