Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Introduction

This course is designed for students who are willing to make career in computers. The course covers all aspects right from fundamentals of computers to database system & advance courses like C++, Java etc.

After Successful completion of the course, students will have gained sound theoretical knowledge on computer architecture, operating system, algorithms, programming languages, data structures, data bases and computer networks.

Moreover, they develop skills in selected programming languages, designing databases and managing. Students will also be equipped with the knowledge of software engineering and web-based applications.

Potential Careers

Students can pursue further studies in MSc. (Comp. Sci.), MCA, MCM, MBA and follow it up by research or take up jobs as trainee programmers with a bright future ahead.

BSc. graduates starts their career as junior programmers and grow at a very fast pace to become systems ana­lysts and project leaders etc. Application areas include transaction processing (such as banking, stock exchange, order processing) simulations, database management, E-com­merce, design support & data communications.
