This course has brought the sixty hours beginner program in India for the first time. It has been developed by certified and very experienced Indian
teachers, This course is very interactive, communicative and highly practical for the one who is looking to learn the fundamentals of Hindi. The class is based on a student based approach that can have place for every
learner's interests & passions.
Our emphasis is on helping you strengthen all the four aspects of Hindi: speaking,
listening, reading & writing. We use different training materials such as
Textbooks, audio CDs, Internet sites, movies, songs & newspapers. You
will be discovering and practicing the language by using role plays, group &
pair work, & language games.

This beginner program will help you:
oTo have the know to the Hindi script and start to read & write
o Be trained in fundamental vocabulary with the help of communicating practice
o How to listen the real life dialogues & conversations
o Knowledge of fundamental Hindi grammar
o Knowledge of all the necessary phonological features of Hindi
o Learn important tips on Culture
o Practice of important working language

Every module has an "India 101" chapter, which says about different facet
of India like caste-system, religion, history & geography, and
food. These things will be provided in English.

Starting date of the course:
Classes are held from Mon to Friday in the AM or PM, and also on the
Weekends.

Unit 1
Subjects covered: Greetings & introductions; Discussion about Habits &
Routines; Simple-present tense; Training of Hindi sound system; Hindi
Alphabet - Recognizing letters and formation; Cultural point - how and
when to salute some one in social situations, non-verbal communication;
Language point - various pronouns for the old and the young,
Terms between adjectives & gender.

Unit 2
Subjects taught: How to talk about weather; How to ask about location of
Places; Negotiate with auto rickshaw driver; Present-Continuous
tense, imperative, Masculine & feminine; Verbs for daily activities;
Dependent signs of vowel; Word-formation; Cultural point - relationship
between men & women, Taboos in India; Language point - use of
Suffixes to change the politeness of commands; English loan words.

Unit 3
Subjects taught under this course: How to make plans; To ask for prices; To ask for
Availability; Future-tense; Singular plural; Nasal sounds; Numbers; Time
Colors; Conjuncts & their sounds, Cultural-point - Gift giving,
art of talking in India; Language point - Hindi loan-word in English,

Colloquial expressions.

Unit 4
Subjects covered: Offering & asking for food; How to refuse politely; Talking
About health; How to express feelings; Adjectives; Possessive pronouns; Effect
Of Arabic & Urdu; Sounds of joint letters; Words linked to food; Body parts; Formation of Sentence ; Punctuation; Cultural point: eating etiquette,
do's & don'ts in India; Language point - formal versus. informal language.
