CAD/CAM

Beginning of computer & digital electronic in the manufacturing industry has revolutionized in the automation industry. With the advancement in digital electronic & computer technology, it adopts the integrated Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing (CAD/CAM). It will become prominent in medium sized industries. Before starting (implement/studies) CAD/CAM candidates should posses basic knowledge of Computer & Electronic, multiple CAD tool, CNC Machine, Automated Material handling system for example AGV/RGV, ASRS, Industrial Robots, FMS and CIM.
Program objective:
This program will focus on giving the exposure to or to enhance the knowledge & skill of technical people in involved in operational usage of CNC machines, CAD/CAM package & for the candidates looking forward to give training to other newcomers in this field. This program offers exposure & practical experience in the areas of CAD/CAM, Industrial Robot, CNC machine, FMS and CIM.
Program outcome:
Students will be able to:
" Get an idea on CAD & CAD tool
" Designing & drafting of 2D & 3D models,
" Writing AutoLISP program.
" Understanding on the working environment of CNC Machine, Robot, Machine Visions
" Designing & machine usage of CAD/CAM package for example MasterCAM
" Surface Design and machining usage of MasterCAM
" Designing of cell levels in FMS & CIM
" Practical exposure to actual life CIM environment.
" Understanding of advanced feature of CAD/CAM
Requirement:
B.E, B.Tech., Diploma in Mechanical, production Tool and Die, Automobile & Industrial engineering.
