The Department is running the Certificate Course of Dental Hygienist with an intake of 10 students per year. The department is carrying out conventional non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy on a routine basis. In tune with the recent trends in periodontics, advanced micro-surgical procedures and regenerative techniques are also carried out by the post graduates and staff.

The P.M.N.M. Dental College and Hospital, Bagalkot was started in the year 1987. The Annual Intake of the college is 100.
