Objectives:

To support a culture of philosophy among the students and teachers in the college and provide philosophical basis for Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities also to promote Christ University as a centre of intellectual activities.
This years focus will be on Existentialism.

The Department of Philosophy also offers the Masters Programme in Philosophy. In an age of extreme competition, stress and early burnout, this programme helps one to overcome existential crises, to assume responsibility for ones life and reexamine the experiential, creative and attitudinal values in order to achieve a more meaningful and productive style of living.
