Certificate Course in Pre-Sea Training for General Purpose Ratings

Great Ocean Academy proffers Certificate Course in Pre-Sea Training for General Purpose Ratings. Once candidates are done with the course they would be eligible to join on the rank of a Seaman Administrator in shipping companies of India as well as of overseas. Doing this certificate module will also make them eligible to get on the rank of officer cadre pertaining to required stipulations as well as conventions. The total time band of this course would run for a period of 36 months. Great Ocean Academy apart from giving out theoterical training would also be providing practical training for GP ratings purposes. There would be a Exam as per the rules of D-G shipping. After conclusion of the Pre-sea training Course .i.e. Deck Cadet/GP Rating and STCW- 95 Basic safety Courses, the candidates are eligible to obtain Continous Discharge Certificate of Panama as per the guidelines issued by PMA.Great Ocean Academy will make provisions to export the CDC in the campus
