The Certificate Courses in Tamil aim at providing the Tamil Language Skills envisaged in the Text books of Tamil Nadu Text Book Society (Govt. of Tamil Nadu, India) for use in classes 1-12 in the schools of Tamil Nadu. These programmes will be offered as detailed below:


I.Certificate ( classes 1 to 6 )

Certificate Course is offered at three levels:

-Basic Level (classes 1 & 2)

-Intermediate Level (classes 3 & 4)

-Advanced Level (classes 5 & 6)


II. Higher Certificate ( classes 7 to 12 )

Higher Certificate Course is offered at three levels:

-Grade 1 ( classes 7 & 8 )

-Grade 2 ( classes 9 & 10 )

-Grade 3 (classes 11 & 12)
