Certificate for having passed the examination for the Diploma in Pharmacy Part-II shall be granted by the MSBTE to successful student. After having appeared in Part-II examination for Diploma in Pharmacy conducted by MSBTE. The candidate shall be eligible to undergo practical training in the recognized institutions as follows: Hospitals/Dispensaries run by Central/State Govt./Municipal Corporation/Central Government health Scheme, Employees State Insurance Scheme, Pharmacy, Chemist and Druggist Shop licensed under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act,1945. In the course of Practical training, the trainee shall have exposure to: working knowledge of keeping of records required by various Acts concerning the profession of Pharmacy and practical experience in the manipulation of pharmaceutical apparatus in common use.
Reading, translation and copying of prescription including checking of doses, dispensing prescriptions, common methods of administering medicaments and storage of dugs and medical preparations. The practical training shall not be less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less then three months. Trainee should submit the day-to-day report of training to the principal of the institute.
