Certificate Programme in Precision Machinist

This certificate programme is designed for those students who are interested in becoming a Precision Machinist. The programme teaches students all machining functions to manufacture accurate mechanism as per representation.

The programme consists theoretical and practical classes. The study area of theory class includes Mathematics, Heat Treatment, English, Engineering Drawing, Introduction to CNC Technology, etc.

The practical class includes Shop floor practice, Turning, Cylindrical Grinding, Electric Discharge Machining (EDM), Maintenance of machines and so on. The students as well are made to go for a project work on production of parts of Press Tools, Jigs and fixtures etc.


After completing the programme the students will be awarded a certificate by NTTF.
