In order to get better the skills of human resources occupied in Small Scale industries popularly called SSIs and furthermore to furnish them with enhanced technologies of manufacturing, Micro Small Scale Medium Enterprises- Development Institute, Kolkataa puts in order standard training courses in the following technical trades attached to the Institute. SDP program is a certificate program offered by MSME, Kolkatta. In order to be eligible for this course the minimum academic qualification criteria that a candidate should be possessing is 8th pass.In this course, a package of information about MSME is given to the applicants for motivating them towards self-employment by setting up their own venture. This module is basically divided further into two segmentsIn the first module course fee stands at Rs.600/-. In the second course which is centering on Ceramic Pottery course fee is Rs. 600/-. On the fee front relaxation facilities are offered to candidates from minority backgrounds.SSI SDP Courses Machine shop (Durgaapur) Carpentry (Siligurii) Leather & Footwear (Surii) All those can participate in SDP if their age is falling between 18 - 35 years and there is relaxation grace of 5 years for minority candidates. Selection of the students is caaried out via interview.
