The purpose of this course is to learn to speak well, using expressions with confidence and ease. Too much emphasis has been placed on the discipline of learning grammatical rules alone and the student is graded on his capacity to memorise them. Writing and
speaking assert fundamental convictions of both feeling and belief. Lack of natural expression and confidence, results in an inferiority complex, and this impedes expression. Everybody has something to say if he can only be encouraged to express himself.
