Certificate in Tool Engineering Drafting

The main purpose of the course is to offer students the technique to develop into a Tool Room draftsperson in the area of Jigs & Fixtures, Moulding and so forth. The course also offers students the facility to develop in sufficient consciousness linked to Tool manufacture and necessary information in computer aided designing / drafting. The course includes both theoretical and practical classes.
The contents of the theory class includes: English, Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Material Technology, Industrial Education, Tool Design Theory, Workshop Calculation, Heat Treatment & Surface Treatment, Computers and many more. The course trains the students to support Tool Designers.
The practical class includes: Bench work, Work on Machines, General observation, Design of Press Tool, Jigs & Fixtures, CAD & CNC and so on. The course also has a project work. At the end of the course students will be awarded with a certification from NTTF. To be eligible for this course students should either Pass in PDC / PUC / 12th class with minimum 45% marks in Mathematics and Science of any one of the qualifying examinations.
