Certificate in Tour Guiding Skills

This Programme is offered in collaboration with CII and KUONI.The program is designed for those who are interested in joining the Tourism Industry and have knack for travelling and helping the tourists while on tour. This program will provide both theoretical and practical training.

Objectives:

-To equip the students with practical skills in Tour Guiding and Tour group management.
-To provide practical and basic skills in Tour Guiding on Coach.
-To equip students with effective communication skills as a customer service to tourists. After completing this program, the students will be able to work as Tour Guides with Travel Agencies, Tour Operating Companies, Hotels as also independent Tour Guides.
In addition to the above all the four programmes also provide specific guidance on Inter-personnel Skills and other soft-skills which are critical to successfully facing the job interview and interacting with the customers and employees at the work place. All the four above programs aim to strengthen the professional and trained manpower available for ever-expanding world's fastest growing industry. The Programme accomplishes the following:
o To impart training through blended learning methodology, incorporating Guided Contact Programmes, Fieldwork, and project report with the high quality learning delivery through the use of interactive multi-media teaching aids.
