Certification Course in Scriptwriting

This program includes the 40 sessions and is for them who are interested fundamental script writing & slowly introduce the students to the points of scripting for various fiction and non fiction.

The program will stress on scripting for short films. At the end of the program students have to submit 2 (1 for a half an hrs or longer film and 1 for a 1 min film).

The student should have passed 12th and have the knowledge of film & video & have good command on English. Students are selected on the base of applications forms & interview.

The program has of 40 sessions. 4 to 5 days a week of sessions. It also includes films screenings every week. Attendance is required for all lecture, film screening and other group actions.

100-percentage attendance is requires for this program.

Course Content includes:
1: Fundamentals: It includes the definition of script, why a scripts, fundamental skill necessary by a scriptwriters, exercise to develops observation skill, getting idea for film, writing the proposal outlines

2: Fiction or non fiction & Structures and Plots: How to do research, taking interview, developing the treatments; the 3 act dramatic structures, its variation and alternative; Analysis of 3 films with 3 various structure; Structure of short fiction film

3: Methods: Method of writing the screenplay; Dialogues device; balancing dialogues & action;
Writing narrations; Writing the audio visual scripting Develops a screenplay for a short fictions, Reading out of the scripts

4. Ads & public service Spots it includes scripting a very short films; Evaluations of the scripts; develops the storyboard and the shooting scripts.
