The C.C.N.A. examination is to qualify exams offered to applicants to practice a single exam option for the C.C.N.A. qualification. The C.C.N.A. (640-to-801) exam will examine materials from the novel Interconnection Cisco Network Devices (I.C.N.D.) program along with the novel ICNT program. The examination will confirm that the triumphant applicant has significant information and skills needed to choose, attach, arrange, and trouble-shoot a variety of Cisco-networking devices. The examination covers all topics on Extending Switched Networks with V.L.A.N.S., Determine I.P. Route, and Managing I.P. traffics with Access-Lists, Establish Point-to-Point connections, and Establish Frame Relay Connection.
Plan & Design
• Designs of a simple L.A.N. by use of Cisco-Technology
* Designing an I.P. address scheme to assemble design needs.
* Selecting an appropriate routing protocol based on user requirements
* Designing an easy inter-network by use of Cisco-technology
* Designing an access-list to meet user specification
* Choosing W.A.N. Services to meet Client requirement
Implementing & Operating
• Configuring route protocols given by user requirement
* Configuring I.P. address, sub-net mask, and gate-way address on routers and hosts
* Configuring a router for further administrative-functionality
* Configuring a switch with V.L.A.N.S. and inter switch communication
* Implementing a L.A.N.
* Customizing a switch configuration to achieve particular network necessities
* Managing system images and devices configuration files
* Performing a preliminary configuration on a router
* Performing a primary pattern on a switch
* Implementing access list
* Implementing an easy W.A.N. protocols
Trouble-shooting
• Utilizing the O.S.I. as a channel for methodical network trouble-shooting
* Performing L.A.N. and W.L.A.N. trouble-shooting
* Trouble-shoot routing protocols
* Trouble-shoot I.P. address and host arrangement
* Trouble-shoot a tool as part of a working-network
* Trouble-shoot an access list
* Performing easy W.A.N. trouble-shooting
Technology
* Describing network-communications by use of layered models
* Describing the spanning Tree processes
* Comparing and contrast-key features of L.A.N. environments
* Evaluating the features of routing protocols
* Evaluating T.C.P. or I.P. communication-process and its connected protocols
* Describing the mechanism of network devices
* Evaluating key features of W.A.N
