Course programme

The requirements for this course are as follows:

Programming or Interactive voice response scripting knowledge is suggested. Along with it is needed that the applicant should have either done the the Cisco® CVPI Programme or have the skill of the ICM or CVP structure, as it will be established, but it is not the main ingredient of the course.

This course aims at:

The CVPD course is a teacher based course, practical training course that trains you all you need to be familiar with about the development of and debugging of self service application with the use of Call Studio and CVP VXML Server. At the end of the course you will be an expert on CVP Call Studio applications and will be returning back to work equipped to start your first project. This course puts a strong emphasis on practical application development of IVR Self Service application with the use of the Cisco CVP Call Studio and VXML Server.


On the completion of this course, you will:

* Know CVP software structure and do center integration
* Know VXML Server operation and management
* Make operate, execute, and debug CVP Call Studio applications, along with:
o Writing full fledged application with the use of ASR, DTMF, TTS and Prerecorded Audio
o Making menus, collect information from diallers, verifying caller input, specify custom input
o The use of prompts suitably: Initial; NoMatch1,2,3; NoInput1,2,3; Help; Success; Disconfirmation
o Installation Tomcat to use SQL databases along with CVP Call Studio
o Knowing Voice XML timers, enabling or disabling the finishing character, clearing awaiting DTMF tones.
o Skills to work with multi-language application.
o Skills to work with speech recognition in CVP Call Studio.
o The use of Studio to create custom ASR grammars,
o How to write CVP Call Studio Subroutines that you call up from other Studio applications.
o Assimilating 'Global Commands' (for example start over, agent, cancel and go back)
o Taking the recording from dialers, along with Emergency Broadcast Messages
o Managing and knowing VoiceXML
o Making an Error Element
o Creating variables, that perform assignment and math calculation, the use of counters
o Including code written in various languages, along with Java, into your Studio application to give additional function and assimilation
