The Centre functions under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. In the year 2010, it has reached to its 25 years of academic and research excellence.Feeling the dearth of educational and research facilities, and implementation of new generation technologies the Centre has come up as a state-of-the-art institution for education and research in order to cater to the requirement of emerging technologies like CAD, Multimedia and Animation, Geographic Information Science, and Remote Sensing.
