INTRODUCTION

PG in computer application aims at producing graduates who are capable of realizing the full potential of IT in designing, specification, development and implementation of software systems.

The graduates in particular, will be able to contribute to the development of computer based management infrastructures which can effectively carry the new technology into existing IT systems so as to support the continuing competitiveness of their host organization.

The department has well-qualified faculty members with professional experience in industry and teaching and they are specialized in the emerging fields of information technology. The department has a tie-up with CISCO academy to train the students in the area of networking. Management development programmes are also arranged to give the managerial skills to the students.
