Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences (or C.I.D.S) is an educational facility for the teaching of dentistry located in the picturesque hills of Coorg in southern India. Excellence is a way of life for the institute - we believe in a totally student-centric approach - and by restricting our intake we are able to concentrate our expertise and guidance upon the development of the student.Located picturesquely atop a hill commanding a panoramic view of fields and valleys in Virajpet town, the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences was set up in September 1999. It is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved by the Dental Council of India, the Government of Karnataka and the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
