Course programme

The program lasts for 2-year. The classes are mainly held on Tuesdays and Fridays. Classes are taken by Mr Dhiresh Kumar Sharma. The classes are held in institute itself.
The contents of the course are as follows:
Theory:
Define the following terms:
(a) Sanngeet, Swar, Sapttak, Aaroha, Samm, Taalii, Khaalii.
(b) Information of Shudha and Vikkrit Swar.
(c) Information of the essential techniques of their particular instruments.
(d) Description of Raags.

Practical:
(a) 5-easy Alankaars.
(b) Revision of Aaroha and Avaroha in Ekgoon and Doogun layakarys in the Raags.
(c) 1-Gat in any 2-Raagas with easy Toraas.
(d) Ragas prescribed: Biilawal, Yamann, Bhopali.
(e) Talas given: Dadraa and Teen-taal
