All the Diploma Engg. courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Govt. of India.

The Polytechnic also operates a community Polytechnic Scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under which free of cost education/training is provided to people belonging to the weaker sections of the society for various technical trades so as to improve their socio economic conditions.
