Courses conducted by HEA polytechnic leads to Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka and All Example content imageIndia Council for Technical Education, Govt. of India. The semester examinations are conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations, Govt. of Karnataka. After successful completion of 3 year Diploma courses, students become eligible to get admission directly to 2nd year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) courses conducted by approved Universities.

Scope for Higher Studies

* A Student finishing his/her diploma can appear for selection for lateral entry in to B.Tech/B.E Second year directly. The greater benefit from this scheme is that a student would be studying almost all same subjects of diploma course with higher syllabus content. Hence he/she will be definitely in a better position to do very well as compared to a direct B.Tech/B.E entry after +2/PUC.

* The three-year full time polytechnic course in computer Science and Engineering includes software design and hardware design.
