Course programme

The course will have much focus on Forms of Abuses, Law and Abuses, Research Methodology, Case conceptualization and Treatment Planning and case conference. The vision of the course is the promotion of a consistent culture of care and protection of minors and vulnerable adults, and the dissemination of knowledge and skills in safeguarding in India. Its mission is to introduce awareness and prevention as the first line of offence in the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults; to educate stakeholders on the sociological, psychological, moral, and legal aspects of abuse of children and vulnerable adults; to work on issues regarding the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults through workshops, seminars, talks, and certified courses; to prepare modules for training, and conducting research on safeguarding; to collaborate with various groups interested in issues of safeguarding and to serve as a referral, renewal, and resource centre.
