Diploma in Electronics

The main purpose of the course is to train students to be capable of fulfilling the requirements in industries dealing with Automation, Instrumentation, etc. The students are provided basic required engineering knowledge and detail understanding in Electronics.

The Programme includes both theory and practical class. The study area in theory class includes English, Physics, Engineering Drawing, Chemistry, Workshop Technology, Electrical Technology, Microprocessors, DSPs, Electronic Drafting, Industrial Management, Automation, Process Control, PC Maintenance and Quality Control etc. And the practical class consists of Electronics Lab: Testing and measuring using various kinds of electrical/Electronics Instruments, Analysis, Trouble Shooting, Microprocessor programming and Interfacing, DSP and Industrial Electronics.


Mechanical Workshop: Bench Work, Machining, Sheet metal work, Soft soldering and manufacture of PCBs, anodizing, vacuum impregnation etc.
The programme also has a project work on Microprocessor based applications, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics etc.

Laboratory:
the lab work includes test and measurement of Different type of Electrical tools. Analyse, Troubleshoot and Physics Chemistry and Biology work of art, How to Programme Micro Processor.

Manufacturing:
Required techniques to work with metal pane and Physics ,Chemistry and Biology filling, Progress of goods making, how to design and manufacture cupboard. PCB
Frame and different things for this field.


Assignment:

Micro Processor and Micro Controller oriented function , Industrial Electronics and Mecha Tronics

Requirement:
Canfdidate should be pass in SLC/+2/PUC/12th Std/

Approved by State Board of Tech. Edu. and Training, Government of A.P, as equal to Dip. in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Approved by Directorate of Tech. Edu. Chennai, Governmentt. of T.N, as an eligible qualification for admission to part time B.E Degree Programme in Engineering
