Diploma in Film and Video Production

This program is suitable for those who want to be a filmmaker, scriptwriter, TV producer, & film teacher. The main objective of this program is not producing well-organized technician. It also imparts student to developed visual thoughts & storytelling skills vital complex jobs of directing a Television or Video programmed. Film is considered as a technical intermediate, working information of Cinematography, Sound Recordings, and Editing & Post Productions will be imparts to the filmmaker. The program focuses on this module related to the filmmaker but not on the specialized technicians. The student will be probable to works as a part of a group while retain their entity identities as imaginative person.

The student should have 12th pass & above, experience to audiovisual media. Student should be expert in spoken & written English. Student also has the knowledge to manage SLR camera. Should have the knowledge of world cinemas, readings & writing habits, & capability to manage time are necessary requisites. The final selection is done on test & an interview.

The classes are divided into two semesters, which is of 45 weeks.
For the 1st half semester film screening per day a week are organized. Program works student will be grade on the base of individuals & group work as set out by individual's instructor for both practical & theoretical. The examination is a combinations of written & viva. Beside, all students are expected to submit 2-group project.

80 percentages attendance is necessary in each modules & total attendance in practical & group works.
