Diploma in Human Resource Management

Managing people need new skills as organisations become bigger, more complex, more industrialised and have to cope with new technologies.
This programme intends to sharpen participants' capabilities as HR professionals, help them discover and exploit their inner potential for personal and organisational benefit, and instill a work ethic where teamwork, collaboration and hierarchical relationships remain strong and dependable.

Human Resource Management: Nature and Scope; HR Planning; Job Analysis and Design; Recruitment, Selection and Induction; Performance Appraisal and Job Evaluation; Training and Development; Employee Compensation and Welfare; Promotion, Transfers and Separation; Industrial Relations; Discipline; Trade Unions; Disputes and their Resolution; Labour Legislation; HR Information Systems; HR Audit; HR Manuals.


Project: Select aspects of HRM function will be assigned to teams of participants for detailed study, analysis and findings. The projects will involve extensive fieldwork, data collection and interviews with organisations chosen for the purpose eventually benefiting the participants and resulting in lasting learning value.
