Diploma in Imaging Technology

Diagnostic Medical imaging is an ever-expanding branch with
innumerable technical procedures for diagnosing various
diseases. This program is designed to meet the new
requirements of the health sector, wherein students are
educated & trained in the technical aspects of the procedures
with a special emphasis on the basic anatomy &
pathophysiology of the disease process.
Objectives:
- To make the students know the basic anatomy of the body
so that he/she can interpret the parts on the radiograph.
- To teach the basic physiology of the body & how pathology
will alter it, leading to a disease process.
- To train the student in conventional radiography as well as
in modern imaging techniques.
- To educate students about a few alternative procedures
which are not routinely performed.
