Diploma in Industrial Law

The aim of this course is to introduce engineers to some basic principles of individual labour and industrial law, to allow students to build on the general knowledge gained in the law foundation courses and to provide a more detailed exposure to legal rules and reasoning in an area which will be of importance to engineers.

This course has been designed for persons who are intending to work, in any area of industrial relations, management, human resource management or the management of people. It focuses upon the workplace and industrial aspects of industrial and employee relations and makes the necessary connections with the broader institutional legal and economic framework.
