Effective Communication and Personality Development through Theatre Course

This 100 hour-course conducted by eminent theatre personalities connected with the NSD, seeks to hone students in skills such as ‘effective communication' - both oral and written. Some salient points of the course are as follows:

1. Dynamic leadership through problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making.
2. Ability to think creatively and act confidently through acting, improvisations, performances and scripting.
3. Team work and interpersonal relationship skills focusing on relationships withself, friends, family and society.
4. Self-management and self awareness skills through effective conflict management, negotiations and ability to cope with stress and manage time effectively.

The course taught mainly through theatre workshops and lectures culminates with a function wherein students showcase their talent in front of special invitees. Seats in the course being limited, the college generally auditions the students for selection.
