Electrical Safety (Lock out and Tag out)

Electrical power must be detached when electrical tools is being inspected, serviced, or getting repaired. To make sure the quality of the safety of persons working with the tools, Electric power is detached and the tool must be locked out and tagged out.

Lockout is the method of detaching the source of electrical power & fixing a lock, which stops the power from getting turned ON.

Tagging is the method of putting a danger tag on the source of electrical power, which shows that the tool cannot function until the danger tag is there.
