Engineering in Applied Sciences

The department of Applied Science has senior, experienced and highly qualified staff in all areas of specializations. It includes the subjects like Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. These subjects are mainly concerned with first year degree engineering course. The basic sciences are very important subjects in the field of engineering and they form a good base for four year degree engineering course of different branches. Applied science department has the following laboratories:

Physics Lab
Chemistry Lab
Language Lab
The laboratories are fully equipped with advanced instruments required for conducting the various laboratory experiments of the applied science subject.

FE academic office, headed by a senior faculty, coordinates all the activities of first year degree engineering students. It interacts directly with the parents and personal care is being extended to every entrant to feel at home.

FE academic office is engaged with various student related cooperative activities like class teacher ship, tutorship, personality development etc. Tutor teacher acts as guide, philosopher and parent for twenty entrants of class and class teacher coordinates between tutor and FE-coordinator. The office sends all the progress reports to the parents thrice in a semester regarding their attendance, unit test performance and other activities/instructions. A separate phone is given to this office for making contact with parents. FE coordinate office is solving all the academic and non-academic problems of first year degree engineering students.

First year classes are well equipped with furniture, O.H.P. and other teaching aids. The overhead projector is more effective for teaching-learning process.
