Fire Awareness Course

Aim of the Course
This course has been designed to create an awareness against fire and teach the measure how to prevent the fire and its hazards if there is an outbreak of fire.

This course aims at:

On the completion of this course the delegates will be capable of:
·Identifying the reasons of fire outbreak and its survival
·Identifying the fire risk in their workplace area and how best to reduce them.
· Identifying and be able to use the right fire extinguisher.
·Recognize the importance of for way of Escape, Emergency Lighting, Fire methods Good House keeping and Awareness of Fire.
·Maintaining the record in logbook proper to a legal obligation.

·Understanding fire and fire survival
· The mechanism of fire, how does fire kill How to be safe against it.
·Fire control, needs of house-keeping, identifying fire risks
·Classes of fire & fire extinguishers
·The role of the fire team member
·Emphasis on teamwork and good communications
·Action in case of fire, evacuation
·Practical Fire-fighting movements
·Practical use of fire fighting equipment.
·Real fire exercises enabling team members to put into practice firefighting theory and team skills.

Requirements:
1.A room with enough relaxed seating, Projector, writing board and a mains power socket to demonstrate the tools. It will be better if the room can be made a bit dark to improve the quality of the projector luminance.

2 An open area good for the use of fire extinguisher on many little fires and not causing disturbance to others.
