Would you like to give an impulse to your professional life? If so, you should check this Full-Stack Designer Course, organized by Red Academy, that has added to its catalogue.

This programme is designed to provide graduates with an in-depth understanding of the core skills, tools, and technologies to succeed in a career as a UX/UI Designer.

Interface and experience design are defining elements in how a product or service will be perceived by the end user. Designing experiences goes beyond just how the product looks: it starts with identifying human needs, and ends with the creation of pixel-perfect interfaces. With today’s growing consumer expectations of flawless, high quality experiences, the caliber of the design can be what makes or breaks the success of a business.

A great digital designer has UX & UI skills and is able to design any website or app from scratch. This 24-week program (12 weeks focused on UI + 12 weeks focused on UX) was designed to teach you the skills and knowledge needed to create delightful visual designs that are true to the brand while balancing seamless interactivity and ease of navigation for apps and websites.

Throughout the 24-week Full-Stack Designer Program, you will engage in the creative process and learn how to apply human-centric design principles to create engaging user interfaces for apps and websites. You will learn the technical aspects of UX and UI Design while simultaneously building the skills to work on multidisciplinary teams in an agency, start up, or freelance environment.

What I would highlight: In October 2017 I have started a program UI Designer Professional at RED Academy with hopes to become fluent in today's tech landscape and build my career in that field. Before I made my decision to take the course I worked as a model and an actor in the Asian market (Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok). Upon coming back to Canada I really wanted to get the skills that would allow me to start a new and interesting career and maybe one day create my own business. RED Academy seemed like a good fit. The program started with basic training of design skills, colour theory, layouts, wireframing, idea inception, moodboards and software. We had 2 school projects and 3 community partner projects. Community partner projects were especially useful because we got to work on real projects for real companies. In Project 1 (Solo Project) the task was to design a landing page featuring a chosen typeface. Project 2 (Group Project) - Design 4 screens for a fictional app. Project 3 (Group Project) - Together with UX Designers design a complete app for a community partner. Project 4 (Group Project) - Fully design a website for another community partner. Project 5 - (Solo Project) - Design a Tourism Campaign for a chosen country. Most of the time at school was dedicated to working on those projects with a few classes every day teaching further skills needed as a designer.
