      Course programme

      This is an advance level four weeks program where high quality welding techniques are appreciable and are high in demand. It is best suited when conventional/pulsed TIG welding is adopted. Due to the advance and superior level of the program, strict check is there on the quality of the product to be welded and a certain procedure is adopted to follow it. This is a very high level program, which helps its students to get mastery over it in a disciplined manner. This program is well designed to meet the exact demands of the industry through a procedural method and a strict process. With the thorough understanding and with the art of practicing so much, the welder is able to attain good skills and work nical understanding of gas and tungsten.With this he is able to weld pipelines of an extreme prominent quality on d-rich, schedule 80, steel pipe in 24, 54 and 6G position.The batch consists of eight people.

      There are three types of pipes used in this program - Schedule 80-pipe 6”-3 nos. schedule 80-pipe 4”: 3 nos. Schedule 80-pipe 2”-4nos.

      The topics covered under this program are - Introduction to GMAW, Tools to be required, Security measures to be taken, Selection of the electrodes, advancement, selection process, techniques of welding, problems and cures, etc
