Govt. Bilasa Girls P.G. College, Bilaspur has the credit of being the biggest girls' college in Bilaspur division. It offers a vast number of courses in Humanities,Social Science and Professional Subjects. The College has adopted UGC-model syllabi in different disciplines and is well suited for NET and various other examinations of national repute.
The college has an excellent Central Library having a Wide collection of books and subscribes various journals to cater the academic needs of the students and faculty .The Laboratories are well equipped.
Conferences and Seminars of National / Regional /State /and Local Level are organized frequently to provide exposure to the students and the faculty members . Research and extension activities are inherent component of several Post Graduate Programmes offered by the college .The faculty is actively involved in teaching as well as research activities . Various Research projects sponsored by national and state funding agencies are in progress . The college has the credit of being the research centre for various subjects for Ph.D. Programme.
