Description
As a part of expansion of pharmacy education, the Govt. Of Maharashtra decided to start the Diploma and Degree courses in Polytechnic and Engineering college under the Directorate of Technical Education.In 1964 Diploma Course in Pharmacy was granted to Govt. Polytechnic, Karad. In 1965, Degree course in Pharmacy was granted to Govt. College of Engineering, Karad. The first Batch for Diploma with a strength of 60 students was admitted in 1964 & first batch for Degree with a strength of 30 students was admitted in 1965.
