This course will give you the ability to generate great creative ideas as well as the skills to execute them. The course is industry focused, with the emphasis on multi-disciplinary approaches to problem solving. In short, you will be equipped to work as a professional designer in the fast moving area of graphic communication. You will acquire the skills to market yourself professionally, and to work either as part of a design team, or as a freelance designer working for both private and corporate clients.
Suitable for: Design graduates may progress to a wide range of careers either as freelance designers or as part of a design consultancy. They may work within a specialist field, such as graphic design, or within a multi-disciplinary team. The creative industries are a growth area both in the UK and worldwide, and UK Design graduates are much sought after by major employers. Students completing a Bachelors degree may also progress to further study at postgraduate level.
